TenZone Bowmen is a Not for Profit club. Based just outside Andover with shooting ranges in Grateley and Tidworth.
Our aim is to provide all members of the community with the opportunity to 'Have a Go', learn and participate in the sport of archery.
Club equipment such as basic recurve bows, arrows, target bosses, target faces and safety nets are available for 'Have a Go' sessions and Beginners’ Courses.
Our indoor facilities are located at The Wellington Academy (Tidworth), where we have the use of the main sports hall each Wednesday evening between 6.00 and 9.00 pm.
We also have the smaller gym booked for running our Beginners’ Courses.
Our outdoor facilities are located at Park Piece (Andover Turf) near Grateley. We have a safe range with no general public access and a total of 189 yards shooting distance (including safety overshoot). This range can accommodate archers shooting all bow types and all distances.
TenZone Bowmen are pleased to have Archery GB qualified coaches as members, who regularly attend coaching conferences and training seminars to keep in touch with the latest archery and coaching developments and techniques. We also have access to County Coaches and further coaching if required.
In addition, we are also able to assist with:
– bow selection
– bow set up and tuning
– arrow cutting
– string making and arrow fletching
We are happy to demonstrate any of the above and guide you through the process to help you maintain your equipment.
As an Archery GB affiliated club, TenZone Bowmen adhere to the Archery GB Policies and Guidelines for Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults.
The Club always strives to maintain a safe environment for all members to enjoy their archery.
